“Beowulf”
The film, which uses animation over existing film footage, was a new experience for the film veteran.
“I didn’t expect ourselves to come out as much. I didn’t expect it to feel as real, and so because of especially the type of character I play, it was kind of funny at first,” Jolie added.
Though shy at first, she loves the end result of mixing film footage and animation.
“I love my tail,” said she when asked what part of her character’s animated body she liked most.
She also loved that she was able to film the revealing scenes while she was pregnant.
“I was three months pregnant. You wouldn’t know. We did the mapping of my body before. It was a pleasure,” concluded Jolie.
Though Jolie is blushing with the bareness of “Beowulf,” the actress has gone nude in “Foxfire,” “Gia,” “Pushing Tin” and “Original Sin.”
“Beowulf” opens on November 16.

Portraying Mariane Pearl
Angelina Jolie was friends with Mariane Pearl before portraying her. The actress took the role for Pearl´s young son, Adam, now 5. Ultimately, Jolie said her intent in taking on this role had nothing to do with the box office or even her own carreer, “all I could think about”, she said, “was I have this one opportunity to show this little boy how much his mother loves his father”.
Mark Booster (L.A. Times) wrote: Her role as Mariane Pearl in “A Mighty Heart” reminded audiences of the Oscar-winning actress´ formidable talent.

The Golden Globe has been cancelled. For the striking writers, it is seen as a victory, but for the NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, it´s a nightmare. For all the invited guests and certainly for the nominees, it must be a disappointment, but a calm Angelina Jolie has said: “I support the writers”.
