Sunny Angelina

Sunny delight: Gothic Angelina Jolie embraces a vibrant yellow look for her swelling baby bump.
The usually dark Angelina Jolie appears to have embraced a sunnier look for her maternity wardrobe.
Dressed in a vibrant yellow chiffon dress, with a plunging bodice, and flats the Hollywood star who is said to be expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt, looked a picture pre-natal health.
Angelina was seen at Los Angeles restaurant Marino on rare outing without any members of her family as neither Brad or her kids were in attendance.
Her delightful new look made a change from usual fashion diet of dark, full-length maxi dresses.
Angelina’s usual sombre black look has seen her compared to the ‘Goth’ fashion tribe, who dress head to toe in the mournful colour.
The star, also used her huge handbag to shield her bump from the cameras, but later, as she left the restaurant, it could be seen more clearly.
The busy star certainly hasn’t let the impending birth affect her packed schedule.
Recently she took part in a ground-breaking ceremony alongside actor partner Brad Pitt to build homes for Hurricane Katrina refugees.
And earlier this month she attended a high-profile meeting in Washington to urge the international community to take responsibility for the education of Iraqi children.

Do Angie and Brad plan summer wedding?
Brad and Angelina are planning a secret summer wedding and the event could lead to a reconciliation between Angelina and her estranged actor father Jon Voight.
A famously private couple, Brad and Angelina have shunned a big celebrity-packed affair for an intimate and non-religious ceremony at their retreat in Santa Barbara in early June, with only close family and friends present, reports the UK’s Daily Mail.
And it is understood Angelina has handed her father an olive branch and asked him to walk her down the aisle.
“Since they started talking by phone in January, Angie has thought about asking Jon to give her away,” a friend says.
“When Angie and Brad started seriously discussing a wedding, the issue of Angie reconciling with her dad came up again and again.
“Angie came around after her brother intervened and strongly urged her to bury the hatchet.”
Although a quiet wedding is planned, there will be a smattering of stars, with Pitt’s close friends George Clooney and Matt Damon expected to attend.

Angelina and Brad have political tussles
ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT regularly fight over politics, because they are both so passionate about their beliefs.
But the actress insists she doesn’t mind their frequent verbal tussles - it’s what attracted her to Pitt in the first place.
She says, “Brad is political and one of the reasons we came together is that he is very aware. Perhaps he is more outspoken than me, and I like that. It is the only time we argue.” And Jolie reveals that, contrary to her caring and charitable reputation, Pitt is the liberal of the household: “A lot of time is spent arguing over things like justice. I am in favour of a harder line than he is.”

Four + children is a challenge, Jolie says

Angelina Jolie recently admitted that having 4 children is a challenge as there is constant chaos in the house. The actress and her partner Brad Pitt aren’t letting the chaos stop them from expanding their brood. Jolie recently confirmed that she is pregnant.
“Four is kind of kicking our ass. But we kind of feel like, damn it, we’re up for the challenge!” Jolie said in a recent interview.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s estranged father Jon Voight said he feels his daughter and Pitt are “heroes” for raising their children properly. “People who raise children properly are heroes to me because it takes a lot of work. And when they do it with joy and love, there’s nothing more beautiful,” he said.

Power Couple Angie and Brad
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt — we don’t call them Brangelina here — aren’t the most inconspicuous Power Couple, and they’ve sure become a force to be reckoned with since they hooked up in 2004.
They certainly didn’t need one another to become famous, but ever since their union after co-starring in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and posing as a married couple in Steven Meisel’s W Magazine Domestic Bliss spread, they’ve been unstoppable.
What I admire about this couple is their ability to channel old Hollywood glamor so effortlessly. Brad reminds me of a young Robert Redford and Angie can easily embody any sex-pot actress, say Brigitte Bardot and with the power of Brad behind her, she’s transformed into a sophisticated woman, a sensitive mother, and poised actress.

On Tuesday, Jolie participated in a Council on Foreign Relations event in Washington D.C. Angelina promotes education for Iraqi kids

Actress and human rights activist Angelina Jolie urged the international community on Tuesday to make educating Iraqi children a greater priority.
“The best way to heal children of conflict from trauma is to have them focus on their future,” Jolie told the Council on Foreign Relations.
Jolie, who visited Iraq in August, and other humanitarian workers discussed how to help displaced Iraqi children regain some sense of normalcy and stability through education.
The schooling of refugee children is a frequent casualty of violence and political unrest, said Gene Sperling, an economic adviser to former President Bill Clinton who co-chairs the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict with Jolie.
The Hollywood actress has visited more than 20 humanitarian hot spots, including Iraq and Sudan’s Darfur region, since becoming a good will UN ambassador in 2001.
The Iraq war has produced 4.5 million refugees and internally displaced people. Of those who have fled the country, about 1.5 million are now in neighboring Syria, while hundreds of thousands have relocated to Jordan and Lebanon.
Speakers at the event recommended building more schools and providing textbooks inside Iraq and urged more support for governments hosting Iraqi refugees.
Syria and Jordan have stretched their limited budgets to educate some Iraqi children, but they need help to accommodate the massive influx of students, said George Rupp, president and chief executive officer of the International Rescue Committee.

Angelina and sons in Washington
Brothers Maddox and Pax Jolie-Pitt and their mother, Angelina Jolie, enjoyed some high-flying fun together Monday at Washington, D.C.’s Air and Space Museum – where they proved to be one of the major sights, as far as the camera-toting tourists were concerned, The Washington Post reports.
Accompanied by security guards and sporting a navy blue hoodie, 6-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Pax, in an olive green jacket, reportedly asked a barrage of questions as they gazed upon Space Hall, Skylab and the WWI and WWII aerial exhibits.
Their mom, however, also had more earth-bound issues on her mind during her visit to the nation’s capital, says The Post. Monday night she attended a Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards gala, where she presented Mariane Pearl with an award, and Tuesday she was headed for the Council on Foreign Relations to discuss a new worldwide education initiative.
